What you share

Choose the Right Market asks about your business, the customers you want to serve, their problems, your positioning, and your message. You may also enter a short description of what you sell on the home page or paste a tagline into the quick clarity test. The answers you choose to give, the AI conversation, and your generated Customer Clarity Profile make up your session. You do not need to create an account or provide an email address to use the tool.

When AI sees your answers

To reply during a session, the app sends the conversation to its server, which sends it through Lovable AI to Google Gemini. To make your profile, it sends the conversation through Lovable AI to Google Gemini again. These requests include the text you entered and earlier messages in the conversation; the profile-writing request also uses the AI's draft analysis. We do not run an account or profile database for this app. We cannot promise that the services carrying or processing an AI request keep no technical records or delete it immediately; their handling of requests is outside the browser storage described below.

The home-page tagline test scores text in your browser without sending it to AI. If you choose to start a full session from that test, the tagline becomes part of the session and can then be sent with the conversation.

The site also loads its fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser makes a request to Google for those fonts, which may include ordinary connection information such as your IP address. This app does not include a visitor analytics feature.

What stays on your device

Your conversation and generated or edited profile are saved in this browser's local storage so you can return later. The app also saves your one-time start acknowledgement and your light or dark display preference there. It does not set an automatic expiration for these items: they remain until you clear this site's browser data, replace the session by starting a new one, or your browser removes them. Starting a new session replaces the current conversation and profile, but does not clear the acknowledgement or display preference.

Downloads and sharing

You can download a copy of your profile as a PDF, Word, or Markdown file. You control copies saved on your device. If you create a share link, the profile is encoded in the part of the URL after # rather than saved in a profile database. The link is not a private password: anyone you give the complete link to can open and read the profile. The Email it option opens your own email app with that link; it does not send an email from our app. Delete shared messages and downloaded files wherever you placed them if you no longer want them available. Clearing this site's browser data will not revoke links you already shared.

How to remove your information

To remove this app's saved session, acknowledgement, and display preference from this device, clear this site's data in your browser settings. Starting a new session replaces only the saved conversation and profile. If you downloaded a file or sent a share link, remove those copies separately. Because the app has no account or session database, Java Books, LLC cannot retrieve or delete a browser-stored session for you.
